Osogbo Livingspring Lions Club demonstrated its commitment to service and community impact on Sunday, August 17, 2025, through a highly impactful three-in-one event. The day featured the distribution of food packages to the less privileged, training for club officers, and a strategic business meeting, all held in Osogbo, Osun State.
The outreach began at Dele Yes-Sir Market, a suburb of Osogbo, where the club distributed food packages to 3,000 beneficiaries, including men, women, and children. Each recipient received a package of assorted raw food items, bringing smiles and relief to families in need. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and joy as beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation for the club’s support.
Following the outreach, members of the Osogbo Livingspring Lions Club gathered at Organizer Hotel and Suites for a comprehensive Club Officers’ Training. This session was designed to strengthen leadership capacity and equip officers with the knowledge and tools to better serve their communities. The day concluded with a business meeting to evaluate community needs and strategize for future impact.
Speaking on behalf of the club, Lion Raimi Omotoso, President of Osogbo Livingspring Lions Club, emphasized the importance of community service as the club’s driving force. “Our mission is simple yet powerful, serving with compassion and leading with purpose. Today’s project reflects our commitment to addressing food insecurity while empowering our leadership team to serve even better,” he said.
Grateful beneficiaries praised the club for extending a helping hand, describing the support as timely and life-changing. “We thank the Lions Club for remembering us and bringing hope to our community,” one beneficiary expressed with joy.
