At the Expanded Council of Governors Meeting held in Osogbo in 2025, DG Tolu Senbanjo PMJF, NLCF was deservedly recognized as MD 404’s Best Performing District Governor. This prestigious accolade stands as a resounding testament to his visionary and exemplary leadership, a beacon that has guided our district to new heights of service and impact. Under his dynamic guidance, the district has grown in leaps and bounds, both literally and figuratively. Membership has surged, with 14 new clubs chartered, each one a new flame in the ever-growing torch of Lionism. His innovative approach has sparked the creation of impactful new programs, while the quality and scale of service activities this year have been nothing short of remarkable.
The 2024–2025 Lions Service Year will be remembered as a landmark era in the history of District 404B2, thanks to the exceptional leadership of District Governor Lion Tolulope Senbanjo, the youngest DG in Africa. With unwavering dedication, vision, and youthful energy, DG Senbanjo steered the district to unprecedented heights, leaving an enduring legacy of growth, impact, and innovation. In a record-breaking accomplishment, DG Tolulope Senbanjo successfully chartered 14 new clubs across the district, a historic feat that reflects his commitment to expanding the reach of Lionism and empowering more communities through service. These new clubs have brought fresh energy and widened the scope of humanitarian outreach across the district.
Under his dynamic leadership, District 404B2 executed numerous impactful service projects aligned with Lions Clubs International’s global causes, including vision screenings, diabetes awareness, hunger relief, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability. His ability to inspire and mobilize Lions at all levels strengthened the spirit of volunteerism and unity throughout the district. DG Senbanjo’s tenure has been defined by bold action, inclusion, and transformative leadership. DG Tolulope with the support of every Lion in District 404B2 together have fortified sight-saving initiatives, expanded hunger-relief programs, and brought renewed hope to countless communities.
